Orange Lawn Tennis Club offers the best year-round opportunity to play outdoor racquet sports in the Northeast. We have twelve grass courts, ten “hard-tru” courts and five all-weather paddle courts, all of which are always maintained in impeccable condition. In addition to our courts, we offer an extraordinary program of lessons, clinics, team play for every level of player at every age.
Our sports facility is why members join but our social activities are why members stay for years and years. Our dining facilities are great – from the snack bar next to the pool to the dining room in our 19th Century clubhouse – and we create opportunities for members to spend time together. Week-end barbeques, club tournaments and round-robins, evening socials, and cocktail parties are but some of the events that bring us together. In a hectic world, we try to offer opportunities for friends to gather and enjoy one another’s company in a beautiful setting.
The Club is situated on a 16 acre preserve nestled in the residential neighborhood of South Orange, New Jersey, just 40 minutes from Manhattan. NJ Transit’s Midtown Direct line stops close by – in fact, it’s a 15 minute walk from the station to the Club.
