Overview
Orange Lawn has one of the largest and most active tennis programs in the country with six ladies tennis teams, four men’s tennis teams, over 70 juniors in our Spring Junior Program, eighteen club tournaments run throughout the season, six twilight tennis nights, seven scheduled round robins for all members, along with numerous weekly events for you to participate in.
Ladies Spring Tennis Teams
Currently Orange Lawn fields six ladies tennis teams in the spring league which runs from April 1 – June 16.
Men’s Spring Tennis Teams
Currently Orange Lawn fields four men’s tennis teams in the spring league which runs from April 18 -“ June 20.
Twilight Tennis Mixers
Tennis mixers for couples or singles. Don’t miss these as we have only six during the season with fun mixed tennis with dinner afterwards. Available dates: May 8, May 29, June 26, July 17, August 7, September 4.
Men’s Tennis Night
Tennis night on Wednesdays from 6:30 – 8:00 pm for men. This is one of our best attended events held weekly starting May 6. All levels are encouraged to participate.
Ladies Tennis Night
Tennis night on Thursdays from 6:30 – 8:00 pm for women starting May 7. New day this year to include all members. We want this to be a big hit this season! All levels are encouraged to participate.
Ladies Meet, Eat and Greet Round Robin
Ladies Round Robin event designed specifically for our new members and existing members to meet each other while participating in a fun and social tennis round robin. All teams will be paired by the tennis director with the intention of making all tennis abilities feel comfortable playing. Join us for a fun day on the courts on May 15.
Memorial Day Round Robin
Mixed round robin for all ability levels. (May 24) This is a must play event of about eighty players in a social mixer on the clay and grass courts. No pressure, no scoring and no down time just tennis. This event is an excellent way for our new members to meet people with such a large number of members participating.
Men’s Member Guest Wednesday, July 15th
One of the very best events of the year. Invite a friend or client to enjoy our member guest Round Robin with dinner in the clubhouse afterwards. Your friends will love this event played on the clay and grass courts. Play will begin at 1:00PM with dinner around 6:00PM.
Ladies Members Guest -Thursday, July 9
One of the very best events of the year. Invite a friend to enjoy our member guest round robin with a courtside lunch afterwards. We will use both the clay and grass courts. This is absolutely one of the best member guest events in the country. In 2008, we had 80 ladies participate. So please sign up early to insure you get in. We guarantee you and your guests will love this event! Play will begin at 9:30AM with lunch around 1:00PM courtside.
