Adam Borr
Adam Borr: Head Tennis Professional and Director of Junior Tennis
Adam is a true professional, he is very passionate about teaching tennis and brings numerous years of valuable experience running his own tennis program to Orange Lawn.
Adam, born and raised in Indiana, currently resides in Westfield, NJ. With over thirty years experience in the tennis business as a tennis player and professional coach, his true passion for the game started at the age of seven when his mother opened an indoor tennis center in South Bend, Indiana. After a standout scholastic tennis career in Indiana and Florida, he received a full scholarship to play tennis for the UNLV University. Later, Adam graduated from the University of South Florida in Tampa, Florida with a Bachelors Degree in Speech Communication.
Adam moved to New Jersey over fifteen years ago and has since spent the bulk of his career as the Head Professional and Co-Owner of the Westfield Indoor Tennis Center located in Westfield, NJ. There, he developed innovative and high performance programs for all age groups from pee wee to adult. In addition, Adam has hosted numerous USTA tournaments from level 3 starter groups to highly competitive sectional tournaments. Adam has also served as a personal coach to many players of all ability levels but is particularly passionate about the use of creative physical conditioning regiments that include weighted bars, medicine balls, balancing apparatuses and rhythmic gymnastics to improve players performance.
Adam is the father of three lovely daughters, one of which is ranked #2 in the Eastern Section and #22 nationally.
